It just amazes me that after listening to Governors, Senators, House Reps and pundits speak for the last year there is a great disparity between parties.
The Democrats have a well-rehearsed script that everyone on the left memorizes. When being interviewed or on the stump, they spit out whatever the party line is no matter what. False, inaccurate, unfair or questionable, they don’t care; they repeat their talking points and never stray from the script. They never take responsibility for anything that goes wrong in government. That’s the other sides fault. When confronted with their inaccurate, unfair or questionable statements they immediately spin it to partisan politics and cry foul.
When confronted by rampant registration and voter fraud they just block all efforts to fix the system and never cooperate. Why do that when they have their corrupt machine hiring so called non-profit organizations like ACORN stuffing ballot boxes with votes for their guy? Why pass a bill to protect our Armed Service personnel’s right to cast their vote in this election when you have Nancy Pelosi blocking that legislation. When our men and women fighting for our country are shut out of elections, it is a disgrace.
The Republican’s on the other hand, eat there own. Which is to say when they are asked a question, they answer with fact, even if it makes their own party look weak or bad. I’ve heard the conservative pundits criticize whoever is running on the right. Well I say, ENOUGH. When things don’t go well for you, then of course you should immediately start fixing blame. I’ve already heard a report that the McCain surrogates handling Sarah Palin are saying she’s a diva, etc. Well, I say congratulations. The first conservative voice that resonates with the American people and not only are the left going to pummel her but now her own party will join the fray.
The right needs a slick, rehearsed script just like the left. Bob, weave, attack the other side, and change the subject. The right needs to start acting like the left. When being interviewed or on the stump stick to the talking points only. Never deviate from the script. And if all fails, throw in a personal attack just like the left.
We all know that McCain may not have been everyone’s first choice for nominee is the better choice for this country right now. Palin has much more experience than Obama does and let’s face it; Biden is the only saving grace the right has at this moment because he shoots his guy in the foot constantly, bless his little heart. Just this weekend when asked to discuss Obama’s Marxist leanings the TV reporter asking the question was shut down with a laugh from Biden and now the Obama/Biden camp will no longer allow interviews with that TV station. Welcome to the new frontier. News agencies will be silenced if they ask questions Obama doesn’t like. Private citizen’s will be smeared if they ask a tough question that makes Obama look bad.
The financial crisis is the fault of the Democrats. Frank, Pelosi, Cox, Reid, etal blocked attempts from the right to reel in Fannie and Freddie. The Democrats do nothing but spend government money on earmarks, try to slide slush funds to corrupt left-wing organizations like ACORN, block our American service men and women from casting their vote and raise taxes every chance they get. Constantly remind anyone who will listen that the Democrats have been in control of Congress for 2 years and Bush has not been able to get much done.
Stick to the script no matter what. The right has been telling the truth and stating fact but the left-wing media machine will never stand for truth or fact they just want their guy to win.
